    Updates (Live)-- Added G36 to Chief shop (needs testing) New Civilian uniforms, headgear and cars added to various shops (We're still working to bring back some that were lost on mod pack update) Water can now be picked up Invisible radio packs now back for cops and ems Removed combat movement (this was never intended to be on) Future Roadmap-- New textured cars, uniforms for LVEMS / LVSP Bank robbery (being worked on now - Bank is in Lakeside) Maverick Apps (car tuning, intro cam, talent tree, etc) Placeables for LVEMS / LVSP VIP Shops Drug Effect Sounds (visual effects themselves are implemented already) Driver's license (actual license you can fill info on and show to cops)

  3. Mod Pack Released

    The newest modpack has been released. Exit steam and restart it to start new download. Edit: Forgot to add there's many new cars we're working on putting into the game. Unfortunately some of the clothing and such may not work as it was removed. We're working on cleaning that up. Please be patient. Cop and EMS clothing and cars have been fixed but won't be updated on server until tomorrow. Good night.

    Good Evening, Russell got called into work which has delayed release of the new modpack. Hopefully it will be out early this week.     Just an update for the past few days-- Changes: Added House Alarm for when house is broken into Changed Jail escape radius to fix a bug/glitch Added ability to rob gas stations (requires 1 cop online) Removed admin from Y menu (was causing bans) Added autosaving every 15 minutes Added Drug Effects Added call for backup for police (Shift B) Added teargas for police Added ability to "push vehicle" using interaction menu (DO NOT ABUSE THIS to troll other players!!!   10. From what I understand you were saying the server was shit and wasn't going to go anywhere on the very, very first day it was opened to the public for TESTING. I'd advise you to see my main post from last night that shows all of the things that were fixed over the course of the weekend. If you have any idea of what it takes to get a modded server up from the GROUND up, then you might have a little better respect for what it takes. That map, other than the terrain requires every little asset to be placed somewhere, coded, and tested. That means every store, every spawn point, every drug / resource, every DP mission, etc, etc. Literally anything you interact with ties to something else that was manually done by hand by myself or Russell. That's before we even get to getting quality of life scripts implemented and tested (Painkillers, illegal items, placeables, tons and tons of other things). Fortunately I have a lot of our original code from our other servers so we've been able to fix and implement things much quicker than before. As you can imagine all of those things need testing. That's why the server was launched as a "TEST". It helps a hell of a lot more to have 15-20 people trying things than Russell or myself doing 1 test at a time and stalling the progress of other development. Anyways, I have a ton of work to do and I'm sitting here dealing with this nonsense when we're not officially live. I'm typically a reasonable person and will leave the opportunity for you to be unbanned if you would like. I need you to understand what I just said in this post and confirm though. I also had better not hear you talk bad about the server's status again or it will be perm.

    Well... I'd say we had a fun and very successful testing weekend. We knocked out a ton of bugs. We're aware of the various popup errors when launching the game and joining. We're also aware of the UI cutting off issues and those will be resolved this week. Hopefully you guys are enjoying the server as it is a ton of work for us. As for now, this is all that has been fixed since Friday night's beginning listed from newest to oldest. Reviving should now save weapons - Will test update tomorrow EMS Vests and Hat added EMS Impound and Pullout Players added Suicide vest can be seized as illegal item now by cops Ziptied civilians can be escorted and put/pulled out of cars Jeep SRT8 at Car Shop is now spawning Spike strip model changed to A3L to look nicer Suicide vest added and tested Blocked freeway in Lakeside from being driven on - There's a bad bug with invisible objects that we weren't able to remove, going to get new roads and build it higher later on Removed AR10 from basic gun shop as it is technically an illegal round Lowered impound rewards - Some cars that cost a lot, yielded way too much money Removed fee to pull vehicles out of garage Added painkillers to EMS for 100% healing Tazer fixed mostly - The animation is buggy with mods. I'm going to change the animation this week. AntiVDM script enabled Earplugs changed to "END" key EMS/Cop Morristown Spawns Fixed Added airshops to Morristown for EMS/Cop Added earpiece NV for EMS Added NLR timers Various sounds added with triggers (car alarm, knockout, etc) Fixed Cop garage spawn @ Corrections Cops changed to Whitelist only (no pub slots) Disable sirens / beacons (old hotkeys for traditional Altis) Added Radios to shops Added Jail timer option for police Prison outfit is now automatically assigned after sent to jail

  14. Another Status Update *Testing Soon*

    Things are coming along very nicely everyone. Russell and I talked about it and we're going to aim for Saturday to least open the server up for testing, maybe even just open it up without a password. This is of course subject to change along with what I'm about to say. What to expect testing: Our intention to start is to grant everyone a lot of starting money for testing. This will allow people to buy and test a lot of the new cars, guns, etc. We will post the modpack links when the testing starts, on this site. With that said, we're hoping people will report bugs with the cars so we can either fix or remove them. Some of the areas of the map may be undeveloped still during testing. Also general bug reports would really be appreciated. Once we get most of the major bugs worked out and we feel like the server is considered "live", there will be a full database wipe. That means don't get attached to anything too much during these early stages as you will lose them when we wipe for full launch. Also please note we're still finishing up the rules. During testing, if we've not finished them, please assume our old rules from altis. They will be done by launch. The end goal: We're intending to make things a little more realistic as far as money goes. We want people to "work" to get to the super-cars and weapons. When you die it should feel like you lost something. A lot of people before on our other servers had so much money they'd simply rather die then go to jail. Getting arrested should and will be a punishment. We're going to use a new police database to determine longer jail sentences (within reason obviously) for habitual offenders. We're going to be pulling for better role play and removing those who fail-RP often. We will be CLOSELY monitoring money when we consider the server live. In fact we will be monitoring money during this trial run too in case anyone discovers a dupe / glitch. To start there will be no donor shops. That's something we may revisit later down the road. We will be using a new police database that we hope to incorporate into the game (not requiring a browser). TFAR will be required again to play on the server.
